Somali Media visited Somalia past winter break and documented the current situation in Somalia. Thousands of Somali children urgently need water and food because it hasn’t been raining for the last two years. Somali Media will share with you news about the situation on the ground and about ways you can help these people. Abdimalik Askar, will present a two hour presentation with video and pictures included.
Keynote Speaker:
Abdimalik Askar received an AA degree from Normandale in 2002, a BA in Information Technology in 2004 and MA in Project Management in 2006 from St. Mary’s University. He is currently working on his doctorate for education of leadership. Currently, Mr. Askar is working The Best Academy East where he is a assistant principal.
